Three or "Where's Me Jump(suit)er?"

Summer's arrived!  Quick, everybody outside before it disappears again!

To celebrate I decided to wear one of my two jumpsuits yesterday and headed out onto the terrace at work again.  Jumpsuits are genius, you get to swan around all day looking fabulous whilst being as comfy as if you're wearing pyjamas.  I must admit though that having to basically get naked every time you need to go to the loo, it's rather disconcerting.  I feverishly checked and double checked the lock on the cubicle every time.

So, back to the clothage.  You may be starting to notice that I wear a lot of black.  I do.  I've never quite managed to shake my teen goth tendencies.  So, this jumpsuit is from Miss Selfridge (last summer).  The regular Miss Selfridge range, as opposed to the Petite range.  Consequently it's a teeny bit long in the leg, but not enough to be a problem.  Don't I look pleased with myself in this picture!  That's 'cos I was!

Shoes: Primark (size 5)

The pattern on here is really pretty and it was this which first caught my attention, I've included a close up so you can fully appreciate it.  As for the accessories, a friend of mine has her own company making really beautiful vintage-inspired jewellery and I got this ring from there.  It's fully adjustable so it doesn't matter what size fingers you have, it will always fit :)

I should also probably mention my nails at this point... I had them done in a salon the other day and love the effect of a different colour on each nail.  I know this look has been around for a while but it was the first time I tried this particular colour combination and it made me feel so summery... however, three days in of having to plan my outfits around my nails, well, it's starting to get a bit old.  Time for a change, I reckon.

Two or "Spot the Difference"

Monday saw me full of excitement to get another photo, in daylight this time (sorry about crappy Sunday Day One images... I'm using my iPhone to take pictures at the moment... waiting for my boyfriend to bestow his fancy pants camera upon me).  The added bonus is that my office has a terrace, so that's where these next lot are taken, with the London skyline as my backdrop.  Not the best view however, as it was a sunny day and too bright in that direction.  Whatevs.

I'm wearing one of my favourite dresses from H&M that I got ages ago, it's great because it actually fits me really well, without needing any alterations, and has a cute spotty pattern on it.  I love patterns, anything in a clothes shop with a pattern instantly attracts my attention.  I have a lot of stuff with spots, stripes, checks, florals, horses, anchors, Eiffel Towers... you name it, I love them all.  I'm on a constant quest for patterns.

Incidentally, this very same dress also popped up on Glee a while ago, worn by Rachel Berry, which nearly made me go off it as she's pretty annoying.  I'll see if I can find a picture to see how it was styled.

Necklace: Urban Outfitters
Shoes: Rocket Dog (size 5)

Excuse the dorky expression in this next one.  Not only am I squinting 'cos the sun was so bright and I'm not sure how to deal with it as it's been AWOL for so long, but I was also feeling pretty dorky as I was hoping nobody could see me posing away on the terrace as if I was on holiday visiting a place of historical interest, or summink.  Anyways.  This is the dress in its full glory and a close up of the print to fully appreciate the spotted fabulousness of it, as well as the cuteness of my owl necklace.

OK, it was actually ridiculously easy to find a picture of Rachel Berry in this dress.  I do quite like the  maroon (brown?) tights with it.  Here you go:

Bit blurry, soz :s

One or "The Very First Time"

So today I'm actually going to attempt to post some photos - woo!  Drum roll: ta daaa... what I wore on Sunday!...

As I've already mentioned, I'm short.  At 5'1" I'm not completely minuscule, but short enough for one friend to refer to me as 'Munchkin' and, depressingly, whilst at a company thing the other day we were all asked to line up in order of height, shortest to tallest... with a baleful sigh I immediately took myself off to the far end of the line where one colleague attemped to challenge me for the shortest person position, however we swiftly established that she is in fact a full half inch taller than me.  Yeah, back off, bitch - I know my place!  Anyway, I digress.  Here's what I've worn so far this week, starting with Sunday.

I got the maxi skirt the other week from Primark.  They don't have a petite section so as is customary I had to take it straight to Sew in Crouch End to be shortened.  Being short works out as pretty expensive when you add the cost of alterations to the price of whatever you've just bought.

I have to mention my jewellery here, it's amazing, I love both of these.  I got the bracelet at Christmas and the necklace just recently and wear it almost every day...  I heart it so much it hurts!
