With the Christmas party season coming up I decided to go for a full-on party dress in the guise of a black shift with sequins in abundance. I'm a sucker for a bit of retro styling and the 60's shape doesn't disappoint. Sadly my usual size was already out of stock so I had to go one size up... even so this particular dress is uber-short, which on a person of normal height could present some problems... but not for moi! Behold:

To suitably party-up this dress even more I accessorised with a Christmas bauble-esque necklace and Minnie Mouse heels for a splash of festive flavour:
I'll totally be rocking this look at my work's Christmas party next month, but haven't decided yet whether to go with the red heels, or maybe some ankle boots and more sheer tights instead. I'm even flirting with the idea of bare legs, however you may have noticed how alarmingly pale I am, so several coats of fake tan would be necessary for that... let's file that under 'very unlikely to happen'.
