Forty or "Gold & Black"

I'm really doing my best to embrace Christmas this year and so far I'm actually doing quite well: I've been to five Christmas parties, wobbled around an ice rink at Winter Wonderland, bought and wrapped all my presents in plenty of time AND perused a 'German' Christmas market on the South Bank... all the while glugging back gallons of gluhwein. The grinchy ghost of Christmas past has been successfully kicked to the curb. Yay me!

I even managed to add a bit of subtle festive colour to an otherwise customary black-themed outfit this week: I dug out a pale gold dress that had been nestling at the back of my wardrobe since last winter... it had been sadly forgotten until now! I didn't want full on metallica so wore the dress as a skirt and layered up with my favourite uber-warm black cropped jumper.

I can't help but wonder if my beanie makes me look gnome-like. Hmmn?

Christmas grumps? Buh-bye!

Jumper & Beanie: Topshop (here and here)
Dress, worn as skirt: Topshop (old)
Jewellery: Topshop (probably still in shops, but not on website)
Boots: Runway Shoes (here)

So yeah, that's it for today. Hey, how about some feedback regarding photos: are there generally too many? Not enough? Need different angles? Whadayareckon?
