Yesterday though, all the fashion forces came together so I could wear a maxi, in a suitably wintery hue (called 'burgundy' in summer, now seasonally rebranded as 'oxblood'): the weather was beautiful, plus I managed to assemble a good enough collection of thermal undergarments that my short leather jacket and cropped chunky sweater became viable.
As you can see it was a VERY bright day yesterday, which is great for getting much-needed Vitamin D, but bad for trying to take pictures. I was squinting in the vast majority of them, as well as looking vampirically pale. Here's one of the better outtakes:

I busted out some recent accessory purchases too, an icicle-esque necklace and some knuckleduster rings:
