Flowers in the Snow

After so many black outfits over my past few posts I decided I had to absolutely ensure that my next one would be more colourful. Finding a non-black ensemble was no mean feat and ended up with my delving deep into the recesses of my wardrobe to find some different coloured shades of yesteryear. Consequently here's an outfit that I was rocking as far back as 2010! Or around then, anyways. Is it therefore classed as vintage??

Obviously there is still some black incorporated here - I wouldn't feel like me without it. I have to say that I don't remember this dress as being quite so short the first time round. Either it shrank in the wash or I've got fatter - is it now so short that I should reclassify it as a top, I wonder??

As it's overall such a girly outfit with all the flowers and pink and all, I felt as though I should toughen it up a little bit: step forward my beloved fangs necklace, that I really don't wear anywhere near as often as I should.

Grr. Argh.
Here's my lovely photographer of the day, Valérie, in a scarf that she knitted herself. She was a lot more prepared for the cold weather than me!

You'll have noticed that I'm back out on the terrace in these shots. You know what...I don't like snow. There. Said it. I have to admit though that it provides a pretty backdrop for this rather odd hobby of mine. However, this doesn't stop it being an absolute pain in the proverbial to gad about in - look:

My Outfit:
Dress: Forever 21 (old)
Cardigan: H&M (old)
Boots: Runway Shoes (here)
Socks: Primark
Necklace & Rings: Topshop (old)
