Manicure Monday: Black & Gold Glitter Fade

First up: have you entered my giveaway?? You have until Saturday 9th March to be in with the chance of winning Benefit's Passport to Posh eye make up set, just take a look at my previous post here.

Next: I would like tea and sympathy please, as I am now on Day Three of the Great Cold Affliction of 2013. This is not good. However, in order to cheer myself up a bit I decided to ghetto up my nails.

This all started when I applied a black polish to my nails, however to my dismay it started to chip at the edges before the day had even passed. Pah. How to salvage this? Apply gold glitter tips, that's how! I layered up the glitter polish at the nail tips, then dragged it halfway down each nail with the brush, after wiping it nearly clean on the bottle. Drumroll please:

This was very easy to do, although I think you'll agree that one hand definitely looks better than the other. Clearly I am not left-handed!

My Nails:
Rimmel London: Black Out (here)
Barry M: Gold Glitter (here)

  5. I really love how these look; I'm thinking of doing something this a maybe an accent nail instead of all the nails, just to save time with taking that glitter off...
