It was my birthday recently and I could think of no better way to treat myself than buying a new pair of boots - to Jo, love and kisses, from Jo (as it were). I wanted a chunky 90s style with a heel high enough to elevate my shortness, but not so high that they couldn't be worn all day without wanting to punch someone. Is it just me who experiences evil thoughts when my feet hurt? Do I need to join a support group?
I digress. Sorry. Back to the boots... I bought these Vagabond Dioon Lace Ups a month ago and have worn them literally EVERY DAY since then! So much so that I should probably just chuck out every other pair of shoes I own because they're not getting a look in at all. Yes, Vagabonds are expensive at £90 BUT they are quality leather and I'm definitely getting my money's worth out of them. Seriously swoonsome, I just wish I'd bought them sooner. In hindsight though, I probably shouldn't have worn the gingham socks with them in this outfit. They look a bit weird, don't they. Sigh.
Before you go, I would like to announce the winner of my Urban Decay Naked Basics palette giveaway. A big thank you to everyone who entered, you are all very awesome. However, there can only be one winner and that lucky person is *drum roll* Mona from Mona's Miscellany! Congratulations, look out for an email from me to get your prize on its way to you!
