I got a promo email from Benefit Cosmetics the other day proclaiming their Rockateur 'cheek powder' to the be No.1 selling blush in the UK.. that is praise indeed so naturally I was intrigued! I hadn't been into Benefit for a while and decided to make a little pilgrimage to see what all the fuss was about. And yes, I left the shop happily swinging a little bag containing said blusher.
Benefit is of course famous for their kitschy packaging and whilst I do own a lot of their products, I sometimes find them to be more style over substance. I'm pleased to report this isn't the case for Rockateur! It's a beautiful rose gold blusher that gives a subtle hint of shimmery colour perfect for my deathly pale skin tone. A little brush is included in the box but I prefer to use my full size fluffy blusher brush to avoid the stripey-faced look (good on tigers, not on Jo's). Retailing for £23.50, this is a pricey little package, but I'm very happy with it so I'm trying not to dwell on that.
